TIASAMALE AIDS/HIV PROJECT FUND

While AIDS and HIV patients in Chikwawa have been provided with anti-retroviral drugs, many of them are starving and impoverished, preventing them from keeping up with their drug regimen. The Tiasamale Project, funded by donations, provides vulnerable members of this community with nutritious food, education, and means of generating income, giving these wonderful people the opportunity to be self-sufficient, productive members of their communities.

HAPPY HEARTS PRESCHOOL FUND

The Happy Hearts Preschool was built by our organization in 2016 to provide dozens of children in one of Malawi's poorest regions with the opportunity to learn. Unfortunately, the school lacks a long-term source of financial support and is at risk of closing if not enough money can be raised to cover teachers' salaries. For many of these children, education is the only they can escape the vicious cycle of poverty and have a chance to pursue a better, more opportunity-rich future.

CLEAN WATER AND SANITATION FUND

Dyeratu Primary School is in desperate need of a source of clean water and improved sanitation, as many of the school's 2,600 students have suffered from water-based diseases like cholera and dysentery, which often prevent them from attending school. Our organization plans to drill a new borehole at the school to provide its students with safe, clean drinking water, allowing the students to attend school without fearing for their health or well-being.

GIRLS' VOICE AMPLIFIER FUND

We are launching a new community-wide initiative, Girl's Voice Amplifier, to help end child marriage and gender-based violence in Malawi's Chikwawa District. Girls' Voice Amplifier would use a holistic approach to empower girls at risk for child marriage with information and support networks. We will be working with the girls' teachers and guardians to keep their education accessible and shift community attitudes toward child marriage.

With the generous support of its donors, DIN Malawi has launched many projects that have greatly improved the quality of life for members of the Chikwawa and Nsanje communities. To learn more about the projects donations support, please click the button below.
