COMMUNITY RADIO PROJECT

Objective: Provide access to a truly independent, community-owned radio station

​The community radio project will improve local education and civic engagement in the following ways:

1. Increase community awareness on gender equality, gender-based violence, child marriage, youth empowerment, and governance, and democracy

2. Improve access to local information, community events, and entertainment

3. Increase the sense of connectedness in our community between people of all ages, social, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds

4. Provide a forum for engaging in discussions on issues of local, national, and international importance
